Here are a few of my favorite shots from the wedding of a beautiful couple, Daudi and Sarah. The wedding took place on a beach in Lubec, Maine at the easternmost point in the USA. The day before the wedding it pretty much rained all the way as we drove 15 hours from NYC to Lubec. But thankfully on the day of the wedding the weather was great!
For those of you who would love to visit Central Park but are unable to do so, Google maps has expanded their services now to cover a lot of previously uncovered paths in the park. Of course its not the same as actually being there, but its the next best thing. So come along and take a stroll in one of the greatest parks in the world! Hope you enjoy it!
The Loeb Boat House in Central Park offers gondola rides at the pond for up to six people in a boat. This is definitely one of the most romantic things you can do with with your special someone while in New York. From the pond you can enjoy the unique combination of Central Park’s lush green forest against the backdrop of the stunning Manhattan skyline all at the same time. On a calm evening The San Remo apartment building reflects beautifully off of the pond’s surface. Past and present residents of the San Remo include such famous personalities as Tiger Woods, Steven Spielberg, Demi Moore, Glenn Close, Dustin Hoffman, Bono, Steve Martin, Bruce Willis. Rita Hayworth spent her last years there, alongside her daughter, Princess Yasmin Aga Khan. Bono bought his apartment from Steve Jobs for $14.5 million.

Here is another post from my favorite place in NYC, especially during the Spring: the Central Park! I try to make a walk to the park at least once a week. On each visit I notice how one blossom has come to an end only to make room for some new flowers. The magnolia blossom is now pretty much over. The Yoshino Cherry Trees that were still blooming a week ago on the east side have made room to the Kwanzan Cherry bloom on the west side of the water reservoir. The ground under the trees is covered with the petals like virgin snow. My new favorite this Spring is the English Garden / Conservatory Garden on the east side at 104th Street where a majority of these photos were taken. It is such a peaceful place to relax and meditate in this buzzing city. Now is the perfect time to get your portraits and head shots taken in the most beautiful place in the greatest city in the world. I did an engagement photo shoot for such a lovely couple, Sarah and Daudi in Fort Tryon Park in Upper Manhattan. They looked so happy together that it made working with them so much fun:) The day was a bit misty and heavily clouded but fortunately not too chilly for November.
